Trying out Arc Raiders

Okay, so I just HAVE to gush a bit more about Arc Raiders on my Rog Ally! When I first heard about this game, honestly, my biggest concern was whether my trusty Ally could even handle it. You know how it is with new releases – sometimes they're super demanding. But seriously, I was blown away! It wasn't just 'playable,' it was genuinely *smooth*. I kept an eye on the frame rate, and for the most part, it held up beautifully even in busier combat moments. I'm running it on medium settings, which still looks fantastic on the Ally's screen, and I haven't noticed any significant stutters or drops. This handheld truly works wonders, allowing me to dive into this sci-fi co-op shooter wherever I want. Speaking of gameplay, I’ve mostly been tackling missions solo so far, just getting my bearings, and it’s surprisingly fun and engaging even without a squad. The objective-based raids feel challenging but fair, and I love the satisfaction of taking down those bigger robotic threats. The game does a great job of making you feel capable on your own, but you can tell it’s designed with friends in mind too. I’m really looking forward to trying out some co-op gameplay soon – I bet it’ll add a whole new layer of strategy and chaos! The controls felt intuitive right from the start; I didn't have to fiddle much with remapping, which is a huge plus for a fast-paced shooter.
