disclaimer!! | i am no professional! i’ve been going for a little over half a year and only know the basics!
1. take a break if you need! : if you’re feeling burnt out from the gym, don’t be afraid to take a day or two off!! it’s good to push yourself, but listen to your body, it’s okay to rest!
2. lifting: if you’re a beginner, start light! if i’m consistent with the gym, i usually move up 5 - 8 lbs every two weeks (rough estimate) last reps are also super important! pushing your muscles is the best way to build!
3. protein protein protein! : if you’re trying to gain muscle, it’s really important to make sure you’re getting enough protein, there’s lots of protein logs you can download to help! feeding those muscles will help them grow! 💗🫶🥳
