Super busy Monday but honestly one of those days that feels SO good to check off the list ✅✨
🏫 Kids finally back to school after all the winter weather chaos and mama went straight into business mode. Morning errands turned into a full grocery haul for lunches and dinners this week, a TJ Maxx run for coffee flavor (still no luck 😩), BUT I finally found potholders I’ve been needing forever and I remembered the dog treats… which the kids made sure to remind me about 😂🐶
📦 Then it was go time for business. We moved everything out of my father in law’s house and into storage and I actually finished switching the studio over for spring, Easter, and Fourth of July. Seeing all the fresh seasonal supplies out makes me so excited for what’s coming 🌸🐰🇺🇸
🍲 Dinner was cowboy soup and it was SO good and flavorful. Nothing beats a warm meal after running nonstop all day. We wrapped up the night with class where I designed an Easter bunny arrangement and ended the day feeling tired but accomplished.
Busy days, full heart, and a whole lot of small business life mixed with mom life 💗
Balancing the demands of mom life and running a small business can be a rewarding yet hectic experience. In my own journey managing a home studio while caring for school-age kids, I’ve found that early planning and organization are key to staying productive. For instance, stocking up on seasonal essentials not only helps switch up the studio’s look but also fuels creativity—something I’ve noticed since refreshing my supplies for spring, Easter, and Fourth of July themes. Beyond just business tasks, integrating family needs like grocery shopping becomes part of the daily rhythm. I’ve learned to streamline shopping trips by combining must-haves like organic rotisserie seasoned chicken breast and treats for my dog, ensuring that no one’s needs are overlooked, even when time is tight. Despite busy schedules, making time for home-cooked meals such as flavorful cowboy soup brings much-needed comfort and energy. Hitting the small unexpected wins—like finally finding those elusive potholders at TJ Maxx or remembering dog treats prompted by my kids—adds a little joy to the chaos. Attending craft or design classes helps me unwind while also fueling my passion for creating seasonal decor, which elevates my business offerings and personal satisfaction. If you’re a fellow mompreneur juggling similar responsibilities, embracing these daily wins and organizing your day around family and business priorities can transform busy days into fulfilling ones. Whether it’s prepping the studio with fresh supplies or simply savoring a warm meal, every small step counts toward maintaining balance and joy in this dual role.
