These past few months have been a whirlwind. Between managing my boutique, my full time job, paperwork, and all the roles I juggle daily, there’s one challenge that keeps weighing on me: finding a two-bedroom apartment for me and my kids.
We’ve outgrown where we are now—not just physically, but emotionally. I’ve been searching high and low in the Bronx and beyond, reaching out to landlords, scrolling through listings, sending emails…and yet, every lead either falls through or doesn’t accept the FHEPS voucher.
It’s discouraging, but I know I’m not alone in this journey. So I’m putting this out there: if you or someone you know has heard of any two-bedroom apartments currently accepting the FHEPS voucher, please reach out. I’d be so grateful. 🫶🏽
My daughter and son deserve a space where they can grow, rest, and just be kids. And I’m fighting every day to give them that. If you’re reading this and facing a similar situation, don’t lose hope. I see you, and we’ll get through this.
Thanks for reading, thanks for sharing, and thanks in advance for any support.
With hope,
Jessica 💛
