「レトロ 富山 カフェ」「富山 夜カフェ」で探している人に向けて、私が行ったときの“使い方メモ”を残しておきます。深夜VALポニーは、いわゆる昭和喫茶の落ち着いた空気感がありつつ、ちょっとした“VAL（バル）っぽさ”もある不思議なお店でした。外観も夜に映えるレトロさで、看板や小物（コーヒーミルっぽいオブジェ）を眺めるだけでもテンションが上がります。 まずポイントは「夜カフェとしての使い勝手」。私は飲み会のあとに立ち寄ったのですが、がっつり食事というより“もう1杯コーヒー飲みたい”“静かに話したい”にちょうどいい感じ。店内はカウンター中心で、タイミングによっては席数が少なめに感じるかも。実際、近くのお店に椅子を貸していることもあるみたいで、そこも含めてゆるくて優しい雰囲気でした。 注文はかなり独特で、メニュー表が見当たらないことも。私が見たときは手書きのメニューボードがあり、「週末オープン」っぽいニュアンスの案内が出ていました。飲み物はコーヒーだけじゃなく、生ビールや缶のアルコール類もある雰囲気。冷蔵庫に缶チューハイ・缶ビール・お茶・UCCのアイスコーヒー・ミルクティーなどが並んでいて、「ここから選んでいいよ」と言われるスタイルは初見だとドキドキしますが、慣れると楽しいです。 支払いも現金のみで、専用の入れ物に“お食事代はココに入れて下さい！”という案内がありました。レジで会計というより、セルフに近い感覚なので、小銭や千円札を用意しておくと安心です。 アクセス面では、駐車場なし（近隣コインパーキング利用）なので、車の人は先に停めてから行くのがおすすめ。営業時間や定休日は変動がありそうで、ネット情報や電話が当てにならない場合もあるみたい。確実性重視なら、近くに行く用事がある夜に“開いてたらラッキー”くらいの気持ちで組み込むと満足度が高いと思います。 富山で「夜に行けるレトロカフェ」を探しているなら、きっちりチェーン的な安心感とは別方向の、思い出に残る一軒です。
