「川原田商店 魚津」で探して行く人向けに、私が行ったときに“これ知っててよかった”ポイントを補足します。 まず営業日。おっさん 川原田商店は土日限定で、時間も13:00〜17:00の短め。私は油断して午後遅めに行きかけたんですが、人気の日は売り切れが早いこともありそうなので、可能ならオープン直後〜14時台くらいが安心だと思いました。実際、到着時点ですでに数名並んでいて、地元の方にじわじわ浸透してる感じでした。 買い方はちょっと楽しいセルフ方式。冷蔵ケースから自分で商品を取って、最後にお会計するスタイルでした。初見だと「これ取っていいのかな？」って一瞬迷うので、ケースの前で他のお客さんの動きを見てから動くとスムーズです。 スイーツは、ホワイトボードのメニューに「昔のプリン」「ガトー・クラシック・オ・ショコラ」「シフォンケーキ」「シュー・アラ・クリーム」などが書かれていました。私の推しはやっぱりシュー・アラ・クリーム。注文後にカスタードを詰めてくれるので、皮がベタつきにくくて、クリームも“今入れました感”があって良かったです。持ち歩き時間が長い日は、最後にクリーム系を買う順番にすると形がきれいなまま持ち帰りやすいと思います。 昔のプリンは、食べた瞬間にラム酒がふわっと香る大人味。甘さは全体的に控えめ寄りなので、甘党の私は「もう一段甘くても…」と思いつつも、逆に甘いのが苦手な家族にはすごく好評でした。ガトーショコラやシフォンケーキも重すぎないので、手土産にも選びやすいタイプ。 注意点は、支払いが現金のみなことと、駐車場が“なし”表記なところ。私は事前に小銭を作って行きました。車で行く場合は、近くで停められる場所を先に確認してから向かうと安心です。 メニューは今後増えそうな雰囲気もあったので、同じ「川原田商店 魚津」目的でもリピートする楽しみがあるお店だと思います。行く予定の方は、営業日と時間だけはしっかりチェックしてみてください。
