Alhamdulillah for everything 🫶🏻

Dunia ini bukan tempat kita menetap, hanya tempat kita singgah.

Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda:

Bersyukurlah ketika diberi, tetapi belajarlah reda apabila Allah mengambil kembali. Jangan genggam dunia terlalu kuat sehingga apabila sesuatu terlepas, kita terasa seperti kehilangan seluruh diri kita.

Kerana dunia bukan diciptakan untuk menyempurnakan kita. Dunia adalah tempat kita diuji sebelum kembali kepada-Nya.

Sayangi dunia sekadarnya.

Cintai manusia sewajarnya.

Tetapi gantungkan hati sepenuhnya hanya kepada Allah. 🤍

Kerana apa yang ada di sisi kita akan pergi, tetapi apa yang ada di sisi Allah tetap kekal.🫶🏻

The reminder that our health, wealth, and loved ones are temporary gifts—akin to a traveler’s brief stay—helps cultivate gratitude without undue attachment. This perspective aligns deeply with the hadith urging us to live as strangers or travelers in this world, fostering resilience against life's inevitable changes. In my experience, when we cling tightly to worldly things, any loss can feel like losing our identity. But when we accept that everything is an amanah (trust) from Allah, and nothing is truly ours permanently, we learn to appreciate blessings as they come and develop patience during hardships. This balance enhances spiritual growth and mental well-being. Moreover, understanding that the world is a test, not a place of permanent fulfillment, encourages focusing on what is eternal: our connection with Allah. Cultivating this attachment ensures steady hope and peace beyond life's ups and downs. Practicing daily gratitude and occasionally reminding ourselves of the temporary nature of dunya helps realign our hearts. This mindset also transforms how we value relationships and achievements. We love and pursue dreams meaningfully but avoid making them our ultimate source of happiness. When challenges arise, this grounding prevents despair by reminding us of Allah’s continuous mercy and the everlasting rewards in the hereafter. Incorporating these reflections into daily life fosters a healthy detachment that doesn’t mean indifference, but a heartfelt appreciation and trust in Allah’s plan. The resulting serenity is truly life-enriching, inviting us to enjoy life’s moments while holding our hearts with humility and faith.
