I bought a waterproof phone case just so I could take it on kayaking trips! I had the opportunity to go kayaking yesterday and I took it!! We did an 8 mile trip, and there were many bluffs along the way, as well as a rope swing!
I also gained the confidence to wear a 2 piece bathing suit for the first time in my life at 22 years old. I have always struggled with self image, mostly because I took the opinions of others to heart. Now that I’ve realized I really don’t care what other people think, I’ve felt more free to wear whatever the heck I want. Random people’s opinions don’t matter. I know that my chronic diseases prevent me from losing weight (PCOS included), and I am actively trying to lose weight, but nobody is gonna make me feel bad about my body in the meantime.
