Had such a good time yesterday at Mon Coeur Books. I mean... I always have a great time there, but the hockey romance panel was something special.

Getting to talk to all the amazing people there, hearing from the authors, and of course, picking up some new books. Some of the books I already had beforehand, but after hearing all the stories and couples waiting for me, I just had to spend every penny I could.

If you missed it, I highly recommend heading to the store and seeing if they have any extra copies of the books still available!

FYI, some of the books in the pictures I did already own, I just wanted to show all the books I have by each of the authors there.

... Read moreAttending the hockey romance panel at Mon Coeur Books was a truly memorable experience. Beyond just chatting with fellow fans, I found it inspiring to hear firsthand from authors like Kate Byrne, Siena Trap, and Jillian Arly about their creative journeys and the heartfelt stories behind their novels. These books, such as "The Midnight Series," "Behind a Bench," and "Face-Off," beautifully blend the intensity of hockey with blossoming romances, offering readers a unique mix of sports and emotion. What struck me most was how these stories go beyond typical romance tropes, capturing the passion and dedication inherent in hockey culture. Whether it’s the tension on the ice or the warm, intimate moments off it, these books convey a vibrant atmosphere that both hockey fans and romance enthusiasts can appreciate. If you’re new to hockey romance novels, I’d recommend starting with popular titles like "Frogen Heart" or "A Bunny for the Goalie," which were highlighted during the event. They provide a great introduction to this subgenre with well-developed characters and engaging plots. Moreover, I appreciated the chance to buy signed copies directly from the authors, adding a personal touch to my growing collection. The event also featured discussions about the "Green Bay Bobcats" series and captivating novellas set around Olympic hockey. For fellow readers intrigued by sports romance, this panel underscores how these stories celebrate resilience, teamwork, and tender relationships, making them compelling reads. If you missed this event, I suggest visiting Mon Coeur Books soon to see if they have any remaining copies from the panel, as these books are perfect additions to any romance or sports fiction lover’s library.
