self care recs?🍋🌸✨
these are some things that i found have worked well for me. being a freshman in college there’s lots of new things im experiencing. i found being around my friends all the time was draining me. so i would make sure i had days to be to myself.
- my perfect self care day (after class and work ofc) was going to the grocery store for anything i’ve been needing and also getting a snack and drink. then id come back and clean up my room. next i would craft, for me this included journaling or scrapbooking. then later i would watch a movie and eat a snack.
- something’s that can be relaxing for people is cooking. i really like baking so i could share with others. but if for you this looks like cooking you a favorite meal for dinner then that’s great.
- working on self care and figuring out what’s right for you can take a little bit of time. but make sure you’re doing new things so make sure you’re mind is staying happy and healthy
