Changing my major was challenging at first, but it opened doors to new opportunities and helped me discover a path better aligned with my passions. Along the way, I managed to make the Dean’s List five times, which was a big motivator to keep pushing myself academically. Being part of Delta Gamma gave me a supportive community and countless memories that I’ll cherish forever. Traveling to 15 countries during my semester abroad expanded my worldview and enriched my college experience beyond the classroom. Balancing four jobs and two internships was tough, but it taught me valuable time management and professional skills that I know will help as I move into the workforce. Living in a dorm and then moving through two different houses also helped me build lifelong friendships. I’ve been lucky to walk alongside 20 best friends and even served as a bridesmaid in 202 weddings within our community, which shows just how tight-knit and supportive my group became. The countless ambassador roles I held strengthened my leadership and communication skills, preparing me well for life after graduation. As a senior, I feel a bittersweet pride reflecting on these years — sad to leave but excited for what’s ahead. These four years at the University of Minnesota truly shaped who I am today.
