The hike itself is moderately strenuous, roughly 6 miles round-trip through desert terrain without many marked trails, so a good GPS or map is essential. Bringing plenty of water, sun protection, and sturdy hiking boots made my trek more comfortable. Despite the physical effort, the joy of witnessing the surreal rock waves and vibrant colors at different times of day truly makes this hike unforgettable.
