... Read moreDealing with dry hair can be frustrating, especially when your current shampoo and conditioner seem to worsen the problem. Many people face this issue, and finding the right hair care products is essential. First, look for shampoos and conditioners specifically designed to hydrate and repair dry hair. Ingredients like argan oil, shea butter, coconut oil, and hyaluronic acid are excellent for restoring moisture. Avoid products with harsh sulfates, which can strip natural oils and cause further dryness. Sulfate-free shampoos gently cleanse the scalp without removing essential oils. That’s why sulfate-free formulas are often recommended for dry or damaged hair. Repairing shampoos with keratin can help rebuild hair structure and reduce breakage. Customizable options like Function of Beauty offer personalized formulas, but they may not work for everyone. If your hair feels dry after using such products, consider switching to more intensely hydrating brands like Olaplex, Moroccanoil, or SheaMoisture. These brands are praised for nourishing dry hair and improving texture. In addition to product selection, try limiting heat styling tools and washing hair less frequently to retain natural oils. Using a deep conditioning treatment or hair mask once a week can also boost moisture levels. Remember, everyone’s hair reacts differently to products. It might take some trial and error to find your “holy grail” shampoo and conditioner combo. Listening to your hair’s needs and choosing formulas rich in moisturizing and repairing ingredients will help bring back softness and shine.

I really enjoy the Kristen Ess line. It’s helped my hair a lot. I also use hair oils and some hyaluronic acid on my ends to help keep them moisturised.
