Country Style Ribs

Preheat the oven at 350 degrees. I had my cast iron skillet already in the oven due to me just cleaning it and I needed to dry it. When I smelt my skillet which was seasoned with olive oil I pulled it out and add 2T. Butter, 1t. minced garlic (from a jar), 1t. fresh ginger paste, 1T. dark brown sugar, a pinch of parsley, paprika, black pepper, cayenne, onion powder, and a few squeezes KC masterpiece BBQ sauce. Stir. Then I added my cleaned ribs to the mixture and turned the ribs to coat then I squeezed the remaining KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce on the top of the ribs. Cover the skillet with foil and let it bake in the oven at for 1hr 30min.

These ribs come from the shoulder area of the pig, making them ideal for slow cooking as they turn out tender and flavorful. To enhance your experience, consider marinating the ribs overnight in a mix of olive oil, garlic, and ginger for deeper flavors. For sides, pair them with classic coleslaw or baked beans to complement the rich BBQ taste. If you're feeling adventurous, try adding your favorite fruits to the BBQ sauce for a sweet twist! Cooking the ribs in a cast iron skillet not only adds to the flavor, but it also helps retain moisture, ensuring juicy results every time. After baking, let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing to allow the juices to redistribute. Serve your Country Style Ribs with extra BBQ sauce on the side for those who love a saucy bite. Enjoy your culinary creation!
