Mondays are for walking?!
Started the week with a BAM! 3.03miles of going up and down some hills as well as flat surfaces! Monday was a success!
I felt very motivated that day so that’s why I was able to get 3 miles done. And I made sure I stretched my legs after this walk because I felt like my thighs were tight at the end of this walk.

Walking has incredible benefits for both physical and mental well-being. It not only helps in weight management but also significantly boosts cardiovascular health. On an average, a brisk walk can help burn around 100 calories per mile, depending on the intensity and your weight. Engaging in walking workouts can also facilitate mindfulness, especially when paired with walking meditation techniques. Incorporate different terrains such as hills to enhance your fitness level, as this adds variety and challenges to your routine. Furthermore, tracking your progress—like distance, calories burned, and pace—can motivate you to set and achieve personal fitness goals. For those looking to enhance their walking routine, consider finding community groups to walk with or trying out different routes to stay engaged. Embrace the fresh air and rhythm of walking every Monday to energize your week, paving the way for healthier lifestyle practices throughout the remainder of your days.
