Heres a snippet from my blog:
(into the void today)An honest post from someone who is still here, barely.
I don’t know how to start this the pretty way, so I’m not going to try.
Some days I want it all to stop. Not in a vague, abstract way. In the way where you’re lying there and your body is failing and the system has failed you and the people who were supposed to help you made it worse — and you think: I am so tired of this being my life. That kind of wanting it to stop.
The specific kind that chronic illness teaches you, slowly, the longer it drags on with no end in sight.
I’m writing this because I think a lot of you know exactly what I’m talking about. And nobody says it out loud. And I’m tired of that too.
