🌸Wig install tutorial🌸
Step by step instructions
MATERIALS
-wig cap
-Hair Scissors
-Adhesive spray (got2bglue/Ebin)
-wig bonding glue
-comb (I prefer a rat tail /tail comb)
-wig band
🌸PREPARING HAIR FOR INSTALL🌸
Wash and Condition hair your hair
Braid hair down make (braids need to be flat) using whichever method you perfer
Moisturize you scalp Or slick hair back
Apply wig cap it works best for me to cut a hole behind the ears and then pull them though
-If you would like to apply foundation to help the wig blend with your skin tone this would be the time to apply a light layer for longevity
🌸BLEACHING🌸
-Developer (40-50)
-Bleaching powder
-Container to
mix products in -Tint brush
-Gloves
Mix products in
a open area open windows if you can
You only have to bleach the knots on the lace
This helps give that NATURAL look
-flip the wig inside out
-the texture should not be runny if it is apply more powder or developer to make the consistency thick.
-Wear gloves to avoid chemical burn
-apply with tint brush a comb can cause holes in lace
Make sure all chemicals are rinsed/washed out
After rinsing use PURPLE shampoo this helps with reducing brassy hair and tones the hair
Blow dry hair/ or let air dry overnight
-after drying you can pluck the lace
🌸INSTALLING THE WIG🌸
Place the wig cap onto your head, aligning the lace where your wig cap ends And then pining with lace down with lace band
Then style
It works best for me to style with wig band on and then removing it after.
