หลายคนอาจสงสัยว่าถ้าเรียนบริหารธุรกิจหรือสาขาอื่นๆ ที่ไม่ตรงกับบัญชี จะมีโอกาสทำงานด้านบัญชีหรือการเงินได้หรือไม่ จากประสบการณ์ที่ผมได้เจอมา อยากบอกว่าคำตอบคือได้แน่นอนค่ะ สิ่งสำคัญคือทักษะและประสบการณ์ที่เราพยายามพัฒนาร่วมกับการรับโอกาสที่เข้ามา เช่น การฝึกใช้ Excel ให้ชำนาญ การเรียนรู้การบันทึกบัญชีอย่างละเอียด การขอคำแนะนำจากหัวหน้าหรือเพื่อนร่วมงานที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญ และไม่ละเลยการเสริมความรู้ด้านการเงินต่อเนื่อง นอกจากนี้การมีทัศนคติที่ดีและความตั้งใจจริงทำให้เราเป็นที่ยอมรับในสายงาน ตัวอย่างเช่น ผู้เขียนจบบริหารธุรกิจด้านประกัน แต่เนื่องจากสนใจและได้รับโอกาสจากหัวหน้าบัญชี ที่พร้อมสอนและให้คำแนะนำอย่างดี จึงทำให้สามารถฝึกฝนการบันทึกบัญชีจนชำนาญ และต่อยอดไปยังสายงาน FP&A ที่ต้องใช้ทักษะ Excel และการอ่านงบการเงิน ทำให้ได้ประสบการณ์และความรู้ที่ลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งนี้ยังต้องขอบคุณเพื่อนร่วมงานที่ช่วยสอนเสริมและให้กำลังใจในช่วงเริ่มต้น สำหรับใครที่กำลังคิดจะเปลี่ยนสายงานหรือยังไม่แน่ใจว่าการเรียนจบไม่ตรงสายจะสร้างโอกาสใหม่ๆ ได้หรือไม่ สิ่งที่สำคัญคือต้องมีความตั้งใจและความพยายามในการเรียนรู้ทักษะใหม่ พร้อมเปิดรับโอกาสและทำงานด้วยความมุ่งมั่น อีกทั้งการนำประสบการณ์และความรู้เดิมของเรามาต่อยอดในสายงานอื่นๆ อย่างเช่น สายบัญชีหรือการเงิน ก็เป็นทางเลือกที่ดีและมีอนาคตสดใส สรุปง่ายๆ คือ หากคุณมีความตั้งใจและพร้อมปรับตัว เปิดใจรับโอกาสใหม่ๆ จากประสบการณ์จริง จะพบว่าการทำงานไม่จำเป็นต้องตรงสายที่เรียนมาเสมอไป แต่โปรดอย่าลืมว่า การเรียนรู้และพัฒนาตนเองอย่างต่อเนื่อง คือกุญแจสู่ความสำเร็จในเส้นทางสายงานที่เลือกค่ะ
