Don't Give Up!!
When it comes to desiring to be in a relationship, Sis, I know the waiting period can be discouraging.
Like me..You probably watched engagements, weddings, anniversaries, and growing families while quietly wondering, "Lord... what about me?"
Maybe you've prayed for years, cried yourself to sleep, or started believing that marriage just isn't part of your story. However, don't allow disappointment to convince you that God has stopped writing your story.
While you're waiting, don't put your purpose on pause. The same God who knows the desires of your heart also placed gifts, talents, dreams, and a calling inside of you. Those weren't given to simply fill the time until someone arrives. They were given so you could glorify Him, serve others, and become the woman He created you to be.
Keep building, serving, growing, healing, and becoming. If God has ordained marriage for you, trust that He knows exactly where your future husband is and exactly how to bring your paths together. You don't have to force what God is capable of orchestrating.
Instead of chasing a relationship, chase Christ.
Instead of worrying about who hasn't found you, become so rooted in the purpose God has given you that when the right man comes, he'll find a woman already walking in obedience.
Remember, God's preparation is just as important as God's promises. So keep praying. Keep believing, trusting, and keep using every gift God has entrusted to you. Your story isn't behind schedule.
"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
The waiting season is not wasted. It may very well be where God is preparing both of you for the life He has planned.
Keep your eyes on Jesus. He knows exactly where your future is, and if marriage is part of His plan, He knows exactly where your future husband is too.
