Lunch at "Shokudo Zeniya," an old-fashioned restaurant quietly standing in a residential area of Mizuho Ward.
I used it as a nutrition supplement before badminton with my friend.
The interior of the small restaurant with only a counter has a sense of the Showa era with plenty of seasons. Although it can not be said that it is beautiful, it is a type of restaurant that sticks strongly to people who like this unique atmosphere.
This time I ordered tonteki set meal for 600 yen.
Tonteki with sweet and spicy sauce goes well with bean sprouts. This price is really surprising with steaming hot rice and miso soup. Set meals are available from the 500 yen range, and it seems to be useful for students and field workers.

瑞穂区にあるこの『食堂銭屋』は、昔ながらの昭和な雰囲気が濃厚に感じられる食堂で、まるでタイムスリップしたかのような懐かしさを味わえます。私も仕事帰り に立ち寄った際、セルフサービスのあら煮とどて煮を初めて体験しましたが、これがまた酒の肴にもぴったりの味わいです。価格が500円台からと非常にリーズナブルなので、学生や地域の現場労働者にも愛されているのが納得できました。 また、とんてき定食は甘辛いタレがしっかり絡んだもので、柔らかいお肉とシャキシャキのもやしの食感がご飯との相性抜群。熱々のご飯と味噌汁がセットでこの価格は驚きのコストパフォーマンスです。カウンターは約8席と小さな空間なので、静かに食事を楽しみたい人や気軽に立ち寄りたい人には特におすすめです。 駐車場はなく、近隣のコインパーキングを利用する形ですが、それでも通う人が後を絶たないのは、この店ならではの生活感と自由な雰囲気があるからだと思います。私も再訪したいと思う、名古屋の穴場的な昭和食堂です。デート向きではないですが、普段のランチやガッツリ食べたい時にぴったりですよ。
