There was such a famous store hidden in a residential area of Nagoya
I went to Bom Garfo, a hideaway French restaurant in Kita-ku, Nagoya.
The atmosphere is already outstanding from the appearance.
It feels like a European street corner based on red, and there is a feeling of excitement even before opening the door. By the way, the entrance door is a sliding type, so slide it to the right to enter the store. Lol

First of all, I was surprised that every dish has a handmade feeling.
Especially the dressing of the salad is exquisite, and it leaves a firm impression even though it is a simple vegetable dish.
The terrine of local vegetables is beautifully colored, and you can enjoy the original taste of vegetables carefully. Quiche Lorraine was also delicious with a crispy dough full of flavor and wine.
And a must-eat is "Ground beef and foie gras pie."
The savory taste of the meat and the richness of the foie gras are condensed in the savory baked pie and it is quite impressive level. This is a signboard grade menu that I definitely want you to eat.
The cream pasta of salmon and spinach was not too rich and elegant, and I enjoyed it without being heavy until the end.
Although the atmosphere is insanely good, it is moderately casual and comfortable.
It is a powerful bistro that you want Nagoya citizens to know, which can be used widely from everyday use to dates and anniversaries.

名古屋で「フレンチ」と検索すると、ホテル系のコースや高級店が多く出てくるんですが、個人的に“普段使いもしやすいのに料理が本格的”なお店って意外と探すのが難しいな…と感じていました。そんな中で見つけたのが、北区・黒川エリアの隠れ家フレンチ（ビストロ）「Bom Garfo」。住宅街にさらっと溶け込んでいるのに、扉の前からヨーロッパっぽい空気があってテンションが上がります。 私が行ったときに「これは頼んでよかった！」と思ったのが、前菜系の充実度。タコとトマトのサラダは、ドレッシングが主役級で、野菜がどんどん進みます。地場野菜のテリーヌも彩りがきれいで、野菜の味が濃く感じられて、軽いのに満足感あり。キッシュロレーヌは生地がサクッとしていて、ワイン好きな人は絶対合わせたくなるタイプです。 そして、店名で検索して来る人にも、名古屋フレンチ探し中の人にも全力で推したいのが「牛ひき肉とフォアグラのパイづつみ」。香ばしいパイの中に旨みが詰まっていて、“心とお腹を満たしてくれる”ってこういうことか…と実感しました。初訪問なら、このパイ包みはぜひ候補に入れてほしいです。 お店選びのコツとしては、デートや記念日目的なら「夜は予約しておく」のが安心。席数がこじんまりしている分、落ち着いて食事できる反面、埋まると一気に満席になりやすい印象でした。逆に、名古屋でフレンチをランチで気軽に試したい人は、昼の時間帯に行くと雰囲気を味わいつつハードル低めで楽しめます。 ちなみに、同じ“名古屋のグルメ探し”でも、検索結果に出てきがちな「やきもち 金山」系のレビューを見て迷うことがあると思います。甘味（やきもち）で寄り道する日も最高ですが、「今日はちゃんと食事で満足したい」「美味しいビストロでゆっくりしたい」って気分の日は、こういう隠れ家フレンチを知っていると選択肢が一気に増えます。名古屋市民なら、覚えておくと使える一軒です。
