My dark patterned athletic crop top and matching leggings were absolute lifesavers. They're comfortable, breathable, and protect your legs from scrapes or insect bites – trust me on the leggings for zip-lining! Don't forget sturdy, waterproof sandals or hiking shoes if you plan on serious trekking. I also brought a pair of water shoes for exploring rivers or rocky beaches. Beach and pool days are a given, and you'll want a few swimwear options. Beyond my black bikini and one-piece, I always pack a couple of versatile cover-ups. For evenings, I loved having a couple of vibrant yellow ruffled mini dress or pink and orange sequined mini dress for dining out.
