We visited Tokyo-famous Sushidan, now in Singapore, known for serving approachable omakase sets at wallet-friendly prices.
Sushidan offers four omakase options: the Goshoku Original or Aburi Set at $19.90, and the Nanairo Original or Aburi Set at $29.90. We got the Nanairo Set in both the Aburi and Original versions.
The ingredients were simple but thoughtfully put together and we were surprisingly full at the end. The seafood were all fresh and satisfying, and our fav was the chutoro (fatty tuna).
The service and setting was friendly and a lot less private than a typical Omakase, which is great if you’re looking to try without the intimidation. You can also opt for normal table service where they’ll serve you the full set upfront, casual and fuss-free.

While desserts aren't part of the set, the attentive staff and fresh sushi left a positive impression, making it good value for an affordable price.
