Rhode Island: Tapas Heaven at Palo - A Must try✨🫶

Exploring Providence and stumbled upon Palo for Spanish tapas! With a 4.7⭐️ rating, it’s definitely worth a visit. The vibe inside is cozy with a retro sailor house feel, and the menu has so many options, it’s hard to choose! 😋

We decided to go for a variety of dishes to share, and here’s what stood out:

⭐️ Costillas de Maíz (Corn Ribs) — A MUST-HAVE! Sweet corn with a smoky char, perfectly seasoned with cream. 🔥

⭐️ Tabla 2x2 (Cheese Platter) — Surprisingly amazing! Thin slices of ham, crispy bread, goat cheese (without the strong flavor), and a little fruity jam. A perfect bite. 🧀

⭐️ Brócolini a la Parilla (Grilled Broccolini) — Who knew grilled broccoli could be this tasty? Crisp and juicy with a cheesy finish.

⭐️ Croquetas (Seasonal Croquettes) — Fried potato balls with corn; crispy on the outside and creamy inside.

⭐️ Chorizo al Vino (Chorizo with Wine) — A tasty small bite with a crispy exterior and juicy interior.

⭐️ Vieiras (Scallops) — Four fresh, tender scallops with a rich, creamy flavor. 🦪

⭐️ Pinchos Morunos (Moorish Kebabs) — Good, but not the standout of the meal.

⭐️ Rabo de Toro (Oxtail) — Tender, flavorful, but not the highlight.

Everything was delicious and surprisingly affordable — we paid around $40pp including drinks and tip. Totally worth it!
