Spotted a brand new Korean-style café in K-town today and had to check it out — and wow, it did not disappoint!
This place is massive, with two floors, tons of seating, and beautiful design — totally made for long convos and cute pics 📸
They serve a mix of Korean traditional sweets + modern desserts. Prices are on the higher side (drinks ~$8-10, desserts ~$15), but paying cash gets you a little discount 💵
🍡 Daon Sang 29 Tea Set – 5 petite desserts + a pot of tea
Perfect for first-timers to sample everything!
• Strawberry mochi was soft & juicy 🍓
• Fruit jelly was tangy and refreshing
• Doo-ak (chewy rice donut!)
• Yak-gaw tasted like a brownie
• Walnut snack was pretty plain
🍰 Black Sesame Roll Cake – Unique mochi texture on the outside (made with rice flour). I loved it, but it’s def a “you like it or you don ’t” type dessert 😅
☕️ Black Sesame Einspanner – Loved this! Rich sesame cream + bold coffee = delicious combo. Stir it well before sipping!
🥛 Latte – Standard but solid.
💡The vibe is unbeatable. Open from 11am to 11pm — a perfect post-dinner spot or late-night dessert run.

Not gonna lie, for Korean desserts in Midtown, I usually go to Grace Street for their shaved ice and mochi donuts. Open late and perfect for groups—plus the matcha drinks are way better than most places in K-Town.
