NYC Foodies: You Need to Try This ‼️👏

I’ve always loved Hakata TonTon — their signature collagen-rich pork feet hot pot is not just delicious but also beauty-boosting! 🧖‍♀️✨

I was honestly heartbroken when they closed during the pandemic, so hearing they’ve reopened in Ktown made me sprint over 🏃‍♀️❤️‍🔥

Their new location has a sleek industrial vibe, way more spacious than before. Major upgrade! The menu’s been updated (yes, prices too 😂), but the quality? Still top-notch.

🥢 Tonsoku Ponzu – Pork feet with yuzu sauce, super tender & refreshing. Must-try!

🥢 Ankimo – Monkfish liver, tiny portion but flavorful with no bitterness.

🥢 Bloomed Tomato – Tomato with kimchi. Kimchi was salty, wouldn’t order again.

🥢 Wasabi Kanpachi – Amberjack sashimi with wasabi. So fresh and well-seasoned!

🥢 TonTon Hot Pot – The star of the show! Flavorful broth with melt-in-your-mouth pork, cabbage, chives…so good!

👉 Don’t forget to add rice and make it porridge at the end — best bite of the night.

🥢 Kocha Cheesecake – Moist but lacked tea flavor.

🥢 Nama Pudding – Creamy and delicious — a strong dessert pick!

✅ Overall, the food was consistently excellent, and service was smooth — none of that “just reopened” chaos. I already can’t wait to go back for their dessert sampler platter 😂

💡Tip: We came at 6 PM on a weekday with no reservation and just got the last table. People after us waited 2+ hours — highly recommend making a reservation or going early!

... Read moreHakata TonTon, a culinary jewel in Korea Town, New York City, is renowned for its exquisite hot pot offerings, particularly featuring collagen-rich pork feet that are not only savory but also promote beauty. First opened before the pandemic, its recent closure left many fans disheartened, but the reopening was met with excitement. The restaurant's new sleek industrial design provides ample space, an improvement from its previous cozy atmosphere. The revamped menu features a gorgeous array of dishes. Among them, the ‘Tonsoku Ponzu’ stands out for its tender pork feet drizzled with a bright yuzu sauce that adds a refreshing zing. For lovers of seafood, the ‘Ankimo’—which is monkfish liver—is served in a portion that's small but packed with delightful flavors, guaranteed to please. Even the ‘Wasabi Kanpachi’, showcasing brilliant amberjack sashimi, arrives on the plate fresh and well-seasoned, inviting you for more. The ‘TonTon Hot Pot’ is the main spectacle; a broth so rich and flavorful that every bite of its melt-in-your-mouth pork combined with crisp greens like chives is pure ecstasy. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the rice at the meal’s end, transforming it into a comforting porridge—a tip that promises to elevate your dining experience. Dessert options like the ‘Nama Pudding’ with its creamy texture are compelling choices that should not go overlooked. With an ambiance that’s both welcoming and modern, diners enjoy a seamless experience; there’s no chaotic rush even on busier nights. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends, to avoid waiting—arriving by 6 PM during the week is suggested for an optimal dining experience. Located conveniently at 35 W 35th St, Hakata TonTon welcomes both loyal patrons and newcomers to indulge in its delicious offerings.
