Hey everyone! If you're anything like me, you probably adore the Cran Merry drink from Starbucks, especially around the holidays or when you're just craving something refreshingly festive. But let’s be real, those daily Starbucks runs can add up, right? That’s exactly why I set out to create my own version of the Cran Merry drink at home, and I'm thrilled to tell you, it's a huge success! It truly tastes like the real deal, and it’s surprisingly simple to whip up. My journey to perfecting this copycat recipe started with a desire for that signature sweet and tart balance. After a few experiments, I landed on a magic combination that truly hits the spot. Making it yourself means you can customize it perfectly to your taste, plus it's much more budget-friendly. Imagine having a pitcher full of this deliciousness ready in your fridge anytime you want a treat! So, how do you make this wonderful Cran Merry concoction? It’s super straightforward. First, you'll need a large pitcher – I usually go for a 1-gallon one because this drink disappears quickly in my house! Then, you’ll combine four 16.9 oz bottles of water (or about 2 liters) with two tablespoons of Lipton Iced Green Tea Citrus mix. This green tea adds a lovely, subtle base flavor that really makes a difference. Next, add two tablespoons of Great Value Lemonade mix. This is where you get that perfect tangy kick that complements the juice so well. Finally, and this is the star of the show, pour in as much Ocean Spray White Cranberry Strawberry juice as your heart desires! I usually fill the rest of my pitcher with it, but you can adjust for more or less cranberry flavor. Once all your ingredients are in the pitcher, give it a good stir until everything is completely dissolved and blended. The key is to mix it well so you don't end up with concentrated pockets of flavor. For the best experience, I recommend chilling it in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully and ensures a super refreshing drink. Serve it over ice, and if you're feeling fancy, a few fresh cranberries or a slice of lime make a beautiful garnish. One of my favorite things about this homemade Cran Merry drink is how versatile it is. Want it a little sweeter? Add a touch more lemonade mix or a splash of simple syrup. Prefer it less sweet? Dial back on the lemonade mix. You could even experiment with different brands of white cranberry juice or green tea to find your absolute favorite combination. Sometimes, I even add a splash of sparkling water for a little fizz! It's great for entertaining, just a regular afternoon pick-me-up, or even as a non-alcoholic option for gatherings. Trust me, once you try making this at home, you’ll wonder why you ever bought it out. Enjoy!
