... Read moreMy daughter and I were absolutely buzzing when our Aliexpress package finally arrived! You know that thrill of unboxing something you've been excited about? Even though I went into it knowing these 'Lafufu' plushies might not be the official Ror Mart originals, the sheer joy on her face (and mine!) was priceless. We managed to get a whole collection of these adorable, monster-like figures, each one boasting a huge, toothy smile and those signature wide, expressive eyes. The big question everyone asks: 'Are they real or fake?' Well, based on the price point – around $4 each compared to what an authentic Ror Mart Lafufu might cost – it's pretty clear these are replicas. But here's the thing: sometimes, the joy of a collection, especially one that’s so vibrant and fun, outweighs the need for a 'certified authentic' sticker. We received a fantastic mix, including a squishy dark grey one with mesmerizing rainbow-colored eyes, a cheerful light green one, and a bright light blue buddy. The quality for the price is surprisingly good; they're soft, well-stitched, and have those cute white tags, even if they aren't the official brand. One of the coolest discoveries was checking out their little feet! Some of them, like the pink and red ones, even have that distinct bunny-like imprint on their soles, just like some of the original designs. Others have plain soles, which is another little detail that sets them apart. But honestly, these colorful plush figures are too charming to care too much about the tiny differences. We've had so much fun arranging them and making up little stories for each one, creating our own gallery of funny Lafufu pictures. For anyone thinking about starting their own 'Lafufu collection' on a budget, I’d say go for it, but manage your expectations. Read reviews on sites like Aliexpress, look at buyer photos, and understand that you're likely getting a fantastic value replica rather than an original Ror Mart product. The 'prix' (price) difference is significant, allowing you to get more adorable plushies for your money. If you're a serious collector who only wants originals, then saving up for the official releases is the way to go. But if you're like me, and you just want to bring some fun, quirky characters into your home, these are a delightful option. We even got a 'Secret Lafufu' in our haul, which was an exciting bonus! It felt like a little surprise lottery win. Ultimately, these monster-like plushies have added a huge dose of cheer to our days. It just goes to show that sometimes, happiness isn't about the brand name, but about the smiles something brings. They remind me that fun and affordability can definitely go hand-in-hand, making these 'fake' Lafufus feel very real in terms of the joy they provide.
