Drone pics of the First Catholic Slovak Union building located on East 55th in Cleveland's Slavic Village Neighborhood.
Originally built in 1905 and renovated in 1932, this building served as the office of the First Catholic Slovak Union until 1988, it most recently served as a studio and main office for a video production company called MadWerkz Studios.
Today, the property is a haven for vandals and homeless.
Can the property be saved before it's completely destroyed?
Will the owner JEDNOTA & VICTORIAN, LLC be held accountable for the property?
We shall see.......

Usually at this hour of almost 5 AM I am DoorDash but my car is ill. I’ve seen much of Slavic Village recently by night and I’m so sad some of these beautiful places are in such disrepair and neglect…. One of my favorite buildings since childhood is now unoccupied overlooking Broadway tower and all and I wish I I too were in better repair with more funds at my disposal because I would love to be able to restore and maintain the place making part of it a community all purpose arts and recreation center where senior adults and kids could work with each other like big brothers, big sisters, but with a grandparent mentorship twist. Of course I’d also veterans and Tokyo animal shelter, so practicality not my forte, but it’ll be better than what’s happening in either of the properties now!!💔
