If you're going through a glow-up journey and looking for ways to enhance your hair, makeup, and fashion routine, there are some practical tips you can try at home. For hair care, especially if your hair gets greasy quickly, washing it less frequently but with a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo can help balance oil production. Dry shampoo can be a great aid on days when you don’t wash your hair to keep it fresh. Since you recently semi-permanently dyed your hair darker brown and are debating whether to keep it or go darker, consider maintaining your hair’s health with hydrating masks and heat protectants to prevent damage. When it comes to makeup, starting with a good skincare routine is essential. If breakouts and scars are a concern, using non-comedogenic products along with gentle exfoliation can improve your skin’s texture. For makeup application, using an eye brightener followed by concealer on blemishes and under the eyes can create a fresh, awake look. Setting it with translucent powder and adding a subtle blush gives your face a natural glow. Mascara and primer help define eyes and increase makeup longevity. Remember, makeup should highlight your natural beauty, so keep it light and comfortable. Fashion-wise, choose pieces that make you feel comfortable and confident, not just trendy. Mix basics with statement pieces to create versatile outfits. Don't hesitate to accessorize with simple jewelry or scarves which can elevate your look instantly. Tracking your body transformation progress with positive affirmations can boost your confidence. Lastly, kindness to yourself is key. Everyone’s glow-up path is unique and personal. Prioritize what makes you feel good rather than conforming to external pressures. Genuine, honest advice helps more than criticism, so always be gentle with yourself and seek support from positive communities. Glow up at your own pace and enjoy the process!

I'm pretty good with hair care. I actually reccomend getting into French braids and Dutch braids. Dutch braids I feel are just the coolest, but thats my personal opinion 🤭 but in general keeping your hair braided as much as possible prevents breakage and is awesome (also it will hurt less if the little ones pull on it) for greasy hair, clean your brush! shampoo and water with a comb to get it all sparkly and it will keep from getting old grease and dust back into freshly cleaned hair. never sleep with wet hair, it will be greasy instantly. the less time its wet the better, even if you use heat to dry it, its not as bad as it staying wet for hours if your hair dries slow. oiling your scalp 1x a week then cleaning the scalp well also helps with greasiness because if your scalp is hydrated, it produces less oil itself.. also makes for fuller shiner hair. I personally also use a very VERY light oil out a spray bottle every day on my scalp and massage it in. for skin I am a huge fan of vitamin C serum after washing your face. evens tone, brightens, anti aging, and helps heal. I'm not really an expert on anything but hair tho 😅
