Single mother but not alone HE IS GOOD
⚠️⚠️VULNERABLE POST ⚠️⚠️
Scripture reference:
1 kings 17:1-24, psalms 30, Ephesians 6:12
These last few months have been one for the books ! Raise ur hand if you ever made a plan without approval from God first👋🏽raise ur hand if u gave ur life back to Christ and God exposed the people( and their demons ) in ur life and kicked them out with the quickness 👋🏽😂 prepare for spiritual warfare when getting deep with God ok (put Ephesians 6:12 as ur wall paper ). During this time of exposing frenemies God had to remind me not to come into agreement with the things that were said and done because not one person that he exposed was meant to stay and all the people that I fell out with were people still “in the world “ I needed to end these friendships and some covenants and by me allowing those lies to replay in my mind what I was actually doing is coming into agreement with word curses of the very people he was trying to remove from my life . Unfortunately I got weary in this season I felt like God was taking too long to answer me and considered signing up to put my child and I in a shelter to escape a roommate situation gone sour ( family is out of state fyi and I am in the state God told me to go too) . Anywho I ended up meeting my sister in Christ at a coffee shop to do our monthly bible study, the first hour we are catching up on life and I explain how a friend and I decided to be roommates in this terrible economy but it is no longer working out and I’m not sure what to do . I had been praying for God to tell me what to do because I didn’t wanna just leave my roommate without Gods permission and grace over the plan but I was also miserable. I was spiritually exhausted from my roommate being unkind and I had enough . Chileeee can I be real ? Yes I am a child of God but after so much fasting and praying for my roommate to change how she was treating my child and I, I was ready to lay thy hands upon her mkay . I was hanging on to my salvation by a thread .
Anywhooo lol after venting and asking for my sis to keep me in prayer she decided to play a game ; to switch bibles and for each of us to randomly open the other ones Bible and hand it back to the owner . No matter where that Bible opened you had to write what you took from it .. and yall !!! Tell me why my Bible landed on psalm 30 ! 🤯🤯 God was literally telling me he was coming to my rescue, he will save me from my situation. Me and my sis were stuck like 🥹🥹 he too good 😌I DIDNT KNOW HOW HE WAS GOING TO DO IT BUT I KNEW HE WOULD .. I had to hold on to that word and keep rereading psalm 30 . Literally 24 hours later another issue with my roommate came up and I just could not take it anymore. I found somewhere to stay temporarily and was approved for my new apartment 4 days after officially leaving my roommate . These last four months almost wiped me out lol BUT GOD he showed up and showed out ! He corrected me when I was wrong and rescued me when I got myself in a mess like a true father . He is GOOD , faithful and merciful 😩😩 heavy on the merciful cuz I had no business putting myself through that without asking him first lol but God also knows his child I would not have cut people off unless I experienced them in this way ( the other fallouts aren’t mentioned, I don’t gossip I simply give quick testimonies lol ) have any of u got yourself in a mess and God just already had ur plan of escape ready ? Lol u just needed to pump ur head first #christianstruggles #christian #christianlemon8 #fyp #god
Being a single mom is an incredible journey, often filled with immense joy but also profound exhaustion. I know firsthand what it feels like to be a 'tired single mom,' where every day feels like a marathon you're running alone. The original post touches so powerfully on *trusting God as a tired single mom*, and really, that faith can be your anchor. But beyond the spiritual, how do we keep going when we feel completely depleted? One huge takeaway from my own journey, and something I wish I'd embraced sooner, is the importance of *building your village*. While God is always there, He often uses people as His hands and feet. My 'sister in Christ' was a lifeline, and having even one trusted friend or family member who truly gets it can make all the difference. Don't be afraid to ask for help, whether it's for an hour of childcare so you can nap, or just someone to listen without judgment. That sense of not being alone, even when you're the only parent in the house, is invaluable. When it comes to those moments of feeling utterly overwhelmed, remembering what 'God lifted me' truly means can shift your perspective. It's not always a dramatic rescue; sometimes it's the quiet strength to get out of bed, the unexpected kindness from a stranger, or the perfect scripture landing in your lap, just like Psalm 30 did for my friend. I've found it helpful to keep a small journal to jot down these 'God moments.' On tough days, rereading them reminds me of His consistent faithfulness. For all the amazing, strong single mums out there, remember your own resilience. It's easy to get caught up in the daily grind, but take a moment to acknowledge how far you've come. I often tell myself, 'If I can handle [insert recent challenge], I can handle this.' It's about reframing those challenges into evidence of your inner power. Don't forget that self-care isn't selfish; it’s essential. Even 15 minutes of quiet time, a warm cup of tea, or listening to uplifting music can recharge your spirit. If you're looking for inspirational single mum quotes or ways to boost your motivation, try finding affirmations that resonate with you. Things like, 'I am capable, I am strong, I am enough,' or 'My children are blessed to have me.' Stick them on your mirror! And yes, sometimes, a little humor helps too – because let's face it, single parent quotes funny moments are plentiful when you're navigating parenthood solo! Ultimately, whether you're battling spiritual warfare or just the daily exhaustion, remember that your journey is inspiring. You are not just raising a child; you are building a legacy of strength, faith, and love. Keep *trusting God as a tired single mom*, and know that you are seen, valued, and incredibly powerful.
