Help!!!!
Hey everyone, I am getting married to a traditional Catholic but I am a modern Catholic. I thought if we did a non church wedding we would be allowed to wear anything we want. Last week we told the Priest I am going to look at dresses. He told me to contact a nun sister, and see what I can wear. They told me it has to be modest so your whole body needs to be covered. No upper chest, cleavage, back, or legs.
I would be okay with it. But due to me not converting or being in a church, I would rather wear something I feel pretty in and comfortable. I mean am I wrong? I feel like if you’re not forcing guest to have a dress code can you really force the bride, and her bridesmaids. Plus it’s my wedding, not there. I think it’s appropriate to let me wear something I feel good in.
