Everything I tried from the local grocery store

/Paradise Fruit Market Meat And Bakery

Love getting fresh fruits and spices from paradise fruit market. They have a butcher in store for meats, a bakery corner making fresh loaves of bread all day and even a hot food section where I tried a bit of everything!

Highly recommend the Falafels and spinach cheese filo, they sell homemade hummus dips so combining both was so delicious!

They also sell all kinds of Dubai chocolates and the ruby chocolate bar was so good!

Can't wait for their new restaurant inside the store to open soon!

This market stands out not just for its wide array of fresh fruits and spices, but also for the authentic Middle Eastern touch it brings to the local grocery scene. What impressed me most was how the market seamlessly combines traditional elements, like their butcher and bakery sections, with ready-to-eat foods that invite tasting and exploration. One of my personal favorite discoveries was their hot food section where I indulged in some freshly made spinach and cheese filo and falafels. These dishes capture the essence of Mediterranean cuisine, offering a perfect blend of flavors that are comforting yet exciting. Pairing these with their homemade hummus dips elevated the experience, since the creamy dips complemented the crispy and savory pastries beautifully. Apart from the savory treats, I ventured into trying their Dubai chocolates, particularly the ruby chocolate bar filled with strawberries and pistachios—an absolute delight with its smooth milk chocolate texture. These international flavors added a wonderful variety to my grocery shopping, making it feel more like a curated culinary adventure. Another interesting find was the pomegranate juice that contains basil seeds, providing a unique texture reminiscent of jelly and an unexpected chewiness that really piqued my palate. What I also appreciate about Paradise Fruit Market is its commitment to freshness; the bakery corner bakes fresh bread all day long and the produce is visibly fresh and vibrant. The presence of both meat and vegetarian options ensures that there's something for everyone. Plus, the anticipation of their new restaurant opening inside the store promises even more exciting culinary experiences to come. Overall, for anyone in or around Troy, MI, looking for a grocery store that offers not only staples but also specialty items and ready-to-eat delicious Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods, Paradise Fruit Market is a destination worth exploring. It's become my go-to spot for fresh ingredients and unique food treats that bring a bit of international flair to my kitchen and dining table.
