Cakey make-up??

3/3 Edited to

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, avoiding cakey makeup is all about preparation and thoughtful layering. First, never skip hydrating your skin with a good serum and moisturizer—this creates a hydrated base that helps makeup blend seamlessly. After moisturizing, I apply a primer tailored to my skin type, which helps in filling fine lines and controlling oil. Using a color corrector before foundation can also balance skin tone issues, enhancing the finish. When applying foundation and concealer, use light layers and build coverage gradually to avoid heaviness. Setting your base with a finely milled powder helps lock everything in place without adding texture. Finally, a setting mist seals your makeup, adding a dewy glow and helping it last longer. Following this sequence—serum, moisturizer, primer, corrector, foundation, concealer, powder, and setting mist—has significantly improved the longevity and appearance of my makeup. It’s essential to use products suited to your skin type, and blending well at each step avoids that dreaded cakey look. With this luxe layering routine, you can enjoy flawless, smooth skin all day long.
