JESUS LISTENS

In my personal experience, learning to trust in Jesus during uncertain times has been a transformative journey. When life feels overwhelming and out of control, it can be tempting to succumb to anxiety and rush through moments trying to fix everything ourselves. However, embracing the truth that Jesus listens and that our times are in His hands offers a profound relief. I’ve found that prayer is not just a routine task but a vital practice that helps me stay grounded. By bringing every concern, big or small, to God in prayer, I invite His peace to replace my worry. This peace, as described in Philippians 4:6-7, truly transcends understanding, calming my heart even when external circumstances remain challenging. Another lesson that has helped me grow spiritually is looking for God’s presence in unexpected places. Life often surprises me with moments of grace and joy that renew my faith. These surprises serve as reminders that God’s sovereignty is active, orchestrating the details of my life even when I cannot see the full picture. Resting in God’s sovereignty does not mean being passive. Rather, it means partnering with Him through prayer and trusting His timing instead of my own. When I embrace this balance, I feel more secure and free, no longer burdened by the need to control every outcome. Ultimately, this journey of trusting Jesus and listening for His guidance has deepened my relationship with Him. It has encouraged me to rejoice in each day He has made (Psalm 118:24) and to respond to life’s challenges with hope rather than fear.
