I LOVE: Baby Edition
Happy 8 Months to my handsome little toot ๐๐ฅน
Oh my goodness, where did the time go? It feels like just yesterday I was bringing my sweet baby boy home, and now we're celebrating his happy 8 months! Every day is an adventure, and he's just blossoming with new skills and personality. One of the biggest milestones we've been cheering about is his progress with standing. It's truly incredible to watch him pulling up to stand, holding onto the couch or anything he can get his little hands on. From crawling to now attempting to stand, his determination is inspiring! I remember seeing him try to push himself up, and now heโs quite steady when holding on. We've been encouraging him by placing his favorite toys just a little higher, giving him that extra motivation to reach up and practice his balance. Of course, safety is always first, so we're right there to support him and make sure he has soft landings. Itโs such a precious stage, watching him gain independence and explore the world from a new perspective. Wearing comfortable baby boy outfits, like a soft romper, really helps him move freely and practice these new movements. Beyond standing, our little one has so many things he loves! JUMPING is definitely high on his list โ especially in his jumperoo or when we hold his hands and let him bounce. His LAUGHING is absolutely contagious; he finds joy in the simplest things, especially playing peek-a-boo or being tickled by Mom and Dad. Itโs those moments of pure joy that make all the sleepless nights worth it. EATING SOLIDS has also become quite an exciting part of our routine. We've introduced a variety of purees and soft finger foods, and he's absolutely loving exploring different tastes and textures. Itโs messy, but so much fun! Heโs also getting really good at holding his blue sippy cup with both hands, taking sips like a pro. Itโs amazing to see his fine motor skills developing. And yes, sometimes he still needs his pacifier for comfort, especially when heโs concentrating on a new skill or winding down. PLAYING WITH MOM AND DAD is his favorite pastime. Whether it's reading books, rolling a ball, or just silly interactions, these moments of connection are priceless. Every day brings a new discovery, a new sound, or a new movement. Watching his progress with standing, his infectious laughter, and his delight in new foods fills our hearts with so much happiness. What an incredible journey motherhood is at 8 months!
