🛤️ How to get to Chiryeunuch by train
Prabhee Khirikhun railway station is very close to the city. A 15-minute walk to the seaside. No cars are easy to travel. There are many train passes. Fast / express / southbound cars. Check around and book in advance at the d-ticket app.
This time we traveled on a regular train on the Thonburi-Behind Garden route because the ticket was not booked in time 😆 at Tlingshin Junction Station, the terminus of Chunkhiryeunuch Station. The bus cost 56 baht each way, including round trip 112 baht.

🚶 about a 5-minute walk from the train station. Book through the Agoda app will be a total rest room. Introduction of a small room of 4 people, but the owner will arrange a single person. The 1st floor will be a common area with kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, hot / cold water dispenser, coin top washer.
✅ Self check in easy and convenient. When can you enter the building? Add line accommodation. The owner will send a code to inform you how to check in. Owner is kind.
Night 2: Spread a tent by the sea, a wild park.
⛺ Tent rental, sleeping pads, pillows, sleeping bags. Total 250 baht / night. No admission fee.
☕ There's a cafe, a welfare restaurant, a kitchen closed at 2 p.m.
The bathroom is clean. The aisle lights are on all night, not scary. There is a tent headlight extension.
Night 3: Jungle guesthouse by the sea
🏖️ Sea view Room 621 Baht Walk-in 650 Baht Book through the Booking app is a 3-storey commercial building with 2 rooms per floor, 1 bathroom per floor, combined coffee / free tea, refrigerator, water dispenser, microwave.
The room is big. The view is beautiful. Morning there is a fresh squid market from the boat in front of the guesthouse. Back is the morning market.

ถ้าใครเสิร์ช “เขาล้อมหมวก” แล้วกำลังลังเลว่าจะไปยังไง/ต้องเตรียมอะไรบ้าง เราขอเติมรายละเอียดจากทริปจริงให้เป็นแนวทางแบบจับต้องได้ โดยเฉพาะคนที่ “ไม่มีรถ” และไปคนเดียวก็ทำตามได้ค่ะ 1) เช็กวัน-เวลาเปิดเขาล้อมหมวกก่อนออกเดินทาง เขาล้อมหมวกไม่ได้เปิดให้ขึ้นทุกวัน (บางช่วงเปิดเฉพาะเสาร์-อาทิตย์/วันหยุดยาว) และมีรอบเวลาให้เริ่มขึ้นค่อนข้างเช้า (โดยมากให้ขึ้นช่วงประมาณ 06.00–09.00 น. แล้วแต่ประกาศหน้างาน) แนะนำให้เช็กเพจ/ประกาศของพื้นที่ก่อน 1–2 วัน เพราะถ้าไปถึงแล้วไม่เปิดจะเสียเวลาเยอะมาก โดยเฉพาะคนที่แพลนด้วยรถไฟ 2) ไปเขาล้อมหมวกแบบไม่มีรถ ทำยังไงให้ไม่พลาด จากตัวเมืองประจวบฯ ถ้าไม่ได้เช่ามอเตอร์ไซค์ วิธีที่ง่ายสุดคือเรียกรถ (แท็กซี่/มอเตอร์ไซค์พ่วงข้าง) แบบเหมารอบไป-กลับ จะควบคุมเวลาได้ดี เพราะต้องไปถึงเช้าเพื่อทันเวลาปล่อยขึ้นเขา ถ้าใครพักแถวริมทะเลหรือใกล้สถานีรถไฟ ลองคุยกับที่พักให้ช่วยเรียกรถและตกลงราคาไว้ตั้งแต่คืนก่อน จะสบายใจกว่า 3) เตรียมตัวขึ้นเขาล้อมหมวก (มือใหม่ก็ขึ้นได้ แต่ต้องพร้อม) - รองเท้า: ใส่รองเท้าผ้าใบดอกยางดี ๆ ไม่ลื่น (สำคัญกว่าที่คิด) - น้ำ: พกน้ำไปเองอย่างน้อย 1 ขวดใหญ่ + เกลือแร่ซองเล็ก ๆ เผื่อเป็นตะคริว - แดด/ลม: หมวก แว่นกันแดด กันแดดจำเป็นมาก เพราะช่วงเช้าก็แดดแรง - กระเป๋า: ใช้เป้เล็ก รัดแน่น ๆ มือจะได้ว่างตอนจับเชือก/ปีนบางช่วง - ของจุกจิกที่ควรมี: พลาสเตอร์กันรองเท้ากัด, ทิชชู่เปียก, ยาดม (ทางชัน เหนื่อยง่าย) 4) ค่าใช้จ่ายและขั้นตอนหน้างาน โดยทั่วไปจะมีค่าธรรมเนียมเล็กน้อย (บางช่วงประมาณ 40 บาท) และมักมีจุดลงทะเบียนก่อนขึ้น แนะนำไปถึงก่อนเวลาเล็กน้อยเพื่อไม่ต้องรีบ และจะได้เริ่มเดินตอนอากาศยังไม่ร้อนมาก 5) ทริคจัดทริปให้คุ้ม: จับคู่ “เขาล้อมหมวก + ตาม่องล่าย” เราแนะนำแพลนแบบนี้เพราะเข้ากันสุด ๆ: เช้าขึ้นเขาล้อมหมวก แล้วบ่ายย้ายไปกางเต็นท์วนอุทยานตาม่องล่ายต่อเลย ตอนเย็นดูพระอาทิตย์ตกที่จุดชมวิวคือสวยมาก แถมตาม่องล่ายมีเต็นท์ให้เช่าพร้อมชุดนอน (ประมาณ 250 บาท/คืน) ห้องน้ำสะอาด มีไฟทางเดินทั้งคืน และมีร้านสวัสดิการ/คาเฟ่ (ครัวมักปิดราว 2 ทุ่ม) เหมาะกับสายงบน้อยและไม่อยากแบกของแคมป์ปิ้งเยอะ 6) ข้อควรรู้เรื่องสัตว์ป่า/ลิง-ค่างแว่น แถวนี้มีทั้งลิงและค่างแว่น เจอบ่อยตามจุดท่องเที่ยวและเส้นทางธรรมชาติ ข้อแนะนำจากที่เจอเองคือ “อย่าถือถุงอาหารให้เห็นชัด” และเก็บของกินในกระเป๋าซิปให้มิดชิด ไม่ให้อาหารสัตว์ จะปลอดภัยและไม่สร้างพฤติกรรมเคยชินให้สัตว์ ถ้าโฟกัสแค่ไฮไลต์ “เขาล้อมหมวก” จริง ๆ สิ่งที่ทำให้ทริปง่ายขึ้นคือการล็อกวันเปิดเขา + ออกเช้า + วางแผนการเดินทางไปจุดเริ่มให้ชัวร์ ที่เหลือคือเตรียมร่างกายและอุปกรณ์ให้พร้อม แล้ววิวข้างบนคุ้มเหนื่อยแน่นอนค่ะ
