💜 The 2019 Apprentice and the opportunity to be behind the BTS concert.

Back in 2019, when we were interning, it was exactly when BTS held the BTS WORLD TOUR: LOVE YOURSELF concert in Bangkok.

We did an internship on the Production side, giving a close look at the work of the team behind the scenes, an experience that is still remembered today.

The first thing it feels is...

The Korean team is very focused on Confidential.

🔴't take pictures. 🔴

The size of the team that has to take pictures of the installation of the equipment for use in the operation is also prompted to delete the photo immediately because everything is subject to the rules of the Korean team.

Another story that we remember well is...

Every cameraman. He's not a BTS fan. 😅

For them, the seven artists were the actors on stage who had to catch up in a few seconds.

So we had the opportunity to explain the characteristics of each member, such as their hairstyle, personality, or observation points, so that the cameraman could remember "who this person is" when switching live images on stage.

It was felt that our fandom had become unexpectedly beneficial to work. 😊

But even if we could explain the characteristics of the members to the cameraman before the start...

In real time, the camera control is not only turning the camera towards the artist, but also to capture the rhythm of the movement in a few seconds.

Many cameramen on that day had a long experience shooting, but they didn't know all the artists, so there were some who might remember the members alternately or capture the artist in some shots (if the viewer noticed on the LED screen, there were some strokes that the cameraman couldn't catch the artist in time).

When the crash happened, the cinematographer from the Korean side who controlled the switch had a lot of pressure, so there was a rhythm that showed emotion or accelerated the work, which is understandable, because every second of the show could not be reshot.

Throughout the work, there will be an interpreter to translate the commands between the Korean team and the Thai team at all times so that all parties understand and work smoothly.

That day gave us a glimpse that...

Behind one concert is not only the artist or the production team, but many people who connect everything: the cinematographer, the cameraman, the technical team, the production team and the interpreter, all play equally important roles.

If you remember correctly, the concert used almost 30 cameras, main cameras, moving cameras, 1: 1 cameras and angles to hold every moment of the show.

It's been seven years now.

Every time you go back to the picture, it feels like one of the most valuable internship experiences.

We were probably just one intern then.

But seeing hundreds of people working under pressure - communication, face-to-face solutions, and mistakes made at any time - makes us understand that what fans see on stage in a few hours is due to the efforts of many people backstage.

And today, as an ARMY, it's even more fortunate to have the opportunity to be a small part of that concert. 💜
