Trends That Need To Stop
I see far too many people posting “what to eat in a day to get skinny”. This trend is so disgusting and so unhealthy in so many ways. Every body type is beautiful exactly how it is!!!
This promotes unhealthy eating habits which encourages eating disorders. And it also creates unhealthy beauty standards.
As a woman we need to support each other. It makes me sad that this has become our new normal.
Instead of focusing on “staying skinny” we should be promoting healthy eating habits. We need to start loving ourselves as we are. EVERYBODY IS BEAUTIFUL IN THEIR OWN WAY!!!

In today's society, the encouragement of unrealistic body standards often manifests through various social media trends. One such trend involves sharing strict dietary habits under the guise of health and fitness. However, such content can contribute to unhealthy eating practices and risk factors associated with eating disorders. It is essential to recognize that every individual is unique, and body positivity is about celebrating those differences. Embracing body diversity means understanding that health comes in various forms and sizes, and promoting healthy habits rather than restrictive diets can make a significant impact. Focus on nutrition rather than the number on a scale fosters healthier relationships with food. Encouraging open discussions about body image can create a supportive community that nurtures self-acceptance and kindness among individuals. Furthermore, campaigns advocating body positivity are emerging to combat harmful societal norms and promote self-love. These movements are vital in shifting perceptions and encouraging individuals to appreciate their bodies as they are. Let's unite in promoting a culture that values healthy living and emotional well-being, rather than just conforming to narrow definitions of beauty.
