Steel path Banshee
#warframecommunity here’s a look at my evading banshee prime build. Let me know your thoughts in the comments #tenno #rpgadventures #gamer #unfiltered
Hey Tenno! Building on my evasion Banshee Prime setup, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why this build shines, especially when you're tackling the Steel Path. When I first started pushing into Steel Path, I realized my usual damage-focused builds weren't cutting it for Banshee. She's amazing for damage, but her low health and shields mean she's often one-shotted. That's where the evasion strategy truly transformed my gameplay. My core philosophy with this build is to maximize her survivability through crowd control and damage mitigation, allowing her to stay in the fight longer and utilize her incredible damage amplification. For me, Silence is the absolute cornerstone of this evasion playstyle, and it’s a crucial ability for Steel Path. When activated, it stuns enemies within range and reduces their accuracy. This gives you precious breathing room, especially against those tough Eximus units and heavily armored foes. I often find myself activating Silence proactively before engaging a group, or reactively when I get overwhelmed. It’s not just about stopping them from shooting; it's about making them miss when they do, significantly increasing my effective survivability, which ties directly into the 'SURVIVAL LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM' mindset needed for endurance runs. Beyond Silence, her other abilities play vital roles. Sonar is non-negotiable for damage. Marking those weak spots means even heavily armored Steel Path enemies melt. I prioritize having high enough duration and range on Sonar so I can keep multiple marks active and cover a wide area. And while I don't always spam it, Sound Quake can be a fantastic 'get out of jail free' card or a powerful room-clearer in a pinch, especially when combined with Sonar for amplified damage. It's all about finding that balance between abilities that keep you alive and abilities that let you deal lethal damage. When it comes to modding, I focus on a healthy mix. I aim for enough ability strength to make Sonar's damage multipliers significant and Silence effective. Duration is key for keeping Silence and Sonar active for longer, reducing the need to recast constantly. Range helps cover more ground with Silence and Sonar. For defence, since Banshee is squishy, I often look for mods that provide damage reduction or conditional invulnerability. Things like Rolling Guard are invaluable for clearing status effects and getting a few seconds of invulnerability if things get too hairy. It's about recognizing that you won't tank hits, so you need to avoid them entirely or mitigate them as much as possible. And let's not forget the companion! I personally rely on Carrier Prime for this build. The extra ammo conversion it provides is incredibly useful, especially with some of the high-fire-rate weapons I pair with Banshee. Plus, its Vacuum ability keeps me from having to run around for energy and health, which is crucial for maintaining flow in intense Steel Path missions. Having a reliable companion that supports your resource needs is a game-changer. My advice for playing this build in Steel Path? Stay mobile! Never stand still. Use Silence to control engagements, keep Sonar active on as many enemies as possible, and constantly reposition. Prioritize high-threat targets marked by Sonar. With this setup, I've found Banshee Prime goes from a fragile glass cannon to an agile, devastating force on the Steel Path, making those longer survival or excavation missions much more manageable.
