... Read moreHey everyone! Following up on my initial post about my Nova Prime Steel Path build, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why this setup works so well and give you some practical tips to truly dominate those high-level missions. When I first started tackling the Steel Path, I struggled to find a Warframe that could consistently provide both crowd control and significant damage output without feeling squishy. That's when I really honed in on Nova Prime, and she quickly became my go-to. The beauty of Nova Prime on the Steel Path lies in her versatility, particularly with her Molecular Prime ability. For Steel Path, I almost always opt for a slow build (negative ability strength) to provide crucial crowd control. Slowing down those heavily armored enemies gives you and your team precious time to take them down. There's nothing more satisfying than watching a wave of Eximus units crawl towards you, making them easy targets for headshots or abilities. But don't underestimate her damage potential! My favorite part, and often the star of the show, is her Antimatter Drop. This ability, especially when paired with a high-damage weapon, can absolutely nuke entire groups of enemies or bosses. The key is to shoot the orb yourself to charge it with your weapon's damage before it detonates. I've found that weapons with high critical chance and damage work wonders here. Getting that perfect shot into a fully charged Antimatter Drop feels incredibly powerful, and it's essential for quickly dealing with those Steel Path threats that have massive health pools. The screenshot shows me rocking the LAETUM [30] INCARNON FORM, and let me tell you, its immense damage output synergizes perfectly with Nova's Antimatter Drop, turning even the toughest enemies into dust. It’s all about unleashing that accumulated damage in one glorious explosion! When it comes to modding for this build, I prioritize a balance of ability duration, efficiency, and survivability. Of course, you'll want to ensure you have enough range to cover the battlefield with your Molecular Prime. For defense, I personally rely on mods like Adaptation, and sometimes even Rolling Guard, to give me those precious few seconds of invulnerability if things get too hectic. Energy management is also crucial, so mods like Streamline and Fleeting Expertise (balanced with duration) are usually in my setup. I also make sure my companion, often my Carrier Pmp, is equipped to help with ammo and provide utility, ensuring I can keep firing. Beyond the mods, understanding Steel Path mechanics is key. Always be aware of enemy types and their weaknesses. Nova Prime excels at disrupting enemy formations and softening them up for you or your teammates. Don't be afraid to experiment with different weapon combinations. While the Laetum is strong, your favorite high-damage primary or secondary can also shine when amplified by Nova's abilities. Collecting Steel Essence is also a major goal in these missions, and having a reliable build like this certainly makes the grind more efficient. Ultimately, this Nova Prime build isn't just about raw power; it's about smart gameplay and leveraging her unique kit. It’s been a game-changer for my Steel Path runs, making even the most daunting missions feel manageable and fun. If you've got any questions about specific mod choices, ability rotations, or even alternative weapons, just ask! I'm always happy to share more of my experiences and help fellow Tenno conquer the Origin System!
