Would you read my memoir??

I was a healthy college student until I wasn’t. At 20 years old I was rushed into an emergency surgery for a rare vascular condition. That surgery should have fixed everything, but I’ve been experiencing symptoms and have had 7 surgeries in 7 years now since that initial diagnosis. Something else is wrong with my body and no doctors can tell me why. I never know when I’ll feel the horrible pain again or if I’ll have to have another surgery.

I want to write this memoir about my experiences and get my story out to more doctors for help.

I want to not only share my medical journey that I continue to fight everyday, but also the mental health journey and how I still continue to live my life the best I can and give that hope to anyone who’s struggling in their own life.

Would you read my story? I will share more details!

... Read moreAt just 20 years old, my life took a drastic turn due to a rare vascular condition requiring emergency surgery. Despite the operation, I found myself enduring seven subsequent surgeries over the next seven years, each one dictating the unpredictable nature of my health. The constant search for answers has led to many unanswered questions, often leaving me frustrated and anxious, with lingering pain as a cruel reminder of my condition. Writing this memoir is both a therapeutic venture and a beacon of hope for others who might be battling similar medical mysteries. My aim is to shed light on the complexities of navigating a chronic medical issue while managing the psychological repercussions that often accompany such battles. The memoir will not only recount my personal experiences but also serve as a narrative for creating awareness about conditions that remain underrepresented in medical literature. I envision my story as a source of inspiration, offering a glimpse into how individuals can find strength amidst their struggles. Whether you are a reader looking for relatable content, a fellow patient fighting against the odds, or a medical professional seeking insights into patient experiences, my memoir aims to resonate with many. I encourage all to join this journey, share in the hopes, challenges, and triumphs. I invite you to follow along as I share more detailed stories and reflections from my life, and perhaps together we can ignite conversations that lead to greater understanding and assistance in the medical community.
