States I’ve been to/lived in! ✈️🇺🇸

Exploring the United States has been an incredible adventure, and my goal is to eventually visit all 50 states! It's amazing how each state offers its own unique charm and experiences, whether you're looking for bustling city life, serene nature, or historical landmarks. My journey really began in New England. Growing up on the coast of Massachusetts, I got to experience the historic streets of Boston and even catch a game at iconic Fenway Park. College took me to Connecticut, specifically Quinnipiac University in Hamden, where I made lasting memories. After graduation, I spent some time in Rhode Island, enjoying the coastal vibe of places like Narragansett and, of course, indulging in delicious lobster rolls. Now, I call Maine home, and I absolutely adore its rugged beauty, especially in spots like Bar Harbor. While I haven't lived there, I've also heard incredible things about the natural splendor of New Hampshire, with its stunning mountains and picturesque towns like Franconia. Beyond New England, my travels have taken me through various parts of the country. Ohio truly surprised me – it's so underrated! Northern Ohio, with its beautiful landscapes, was a pleasant discovery, and Cedar Point amusement park right on Lake Erie is an absolute must-visit for thrill-seekers. Down south, I've spent time in North Carolina, where I've loved exploring areas like Oak Island and the Outer Banks. And South Carolina holds a special place in my heart, especially the charming city of Charleston, which I much prefer over the more touristy Myrtle Beach. Nashville, Tennessee, was another highlight; the music scene and vibrant atmosphere made me want to go back immediately! Of course, the US is vast, and there are so many more incredible places to explore. While I haven't personally spent extensive time in all of them, I'm always dreaming of future trips! For instance, the energy of New York City is legendary, and I can only imagine the cultural experiences waiting there. Pennsylvania offers a rich history, particularly in Philadelphia, which is a must-see for history buffs. And who could forget Florida? Beyond the theme parks, I've heard amazing things about quieter spots like Vero Beach, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Texas, while Houston was a bit overwhelming for me, has so many diverse regions I'd love to discover. On the West Coast, the iconic beaches and national parks of California are definitely on my radar, as are the dazzling lights of Las Vegas in Nevada. And for a truly unique experience, nothing beats the tropical paradise of Hawaii. Even in the heartland, states like Illinois with its vibrant Chicago scene, and the stunning desert landscapes of Arizona, offer unique adventures. Traveling across the US is about more than just checking off states; it's about experiencing the incredible diversity of cultures, landscapes, and people that make this country so special. Each visit adds another piece to my personal travel map, and I can't wait to see where my next adventure takes me!
