✨New Year Same Me (Upgraded Version) ✨

This year there will be no “New Year New Me” and no New Years Resolutions. However, what I will be claiming is 2025 as MY year! My year to foster healthier habits. My year to do the things that make me happy. My year to do all the fun things with my little family. My year to embrace new journeys and different chapters. My year to protect my peace at all cost. My year to grow my presence here online. On this platform and a bunch of others (so look out for me everywhere). My year to just be the best version, the healthiest version, the updated version, and the ✨upgraded version✨ of Tara!

Here are some tools I’m bringing into the New Year with me!

1. A planner. This has been pivotal not only for my family schedule but also for my content schedule. It keeps me from having to keep track of everything in my head.

2. A motivational Book. The one I have is called “The Pivot Year”. It’s a book that allows you to read one page a day for the year. Each day is a different affirmation.

3. A Journal. Any journal will do. Just a place to write down your thoughts, ideas, manifestations, and anything else.

4. A Book. Pick your genre. Pick an author or a title. Then dive into that book. Read a chapter a night or as many pages as you want. If a book isn’t your thing maybe get an adult coloring book or something that interests you. #newyearreset #newyearaffirmations #yearlyreset #newyearinspiration #embracevulnerability

... Read moreHey everyone! You know how I'm all about that "New Year, Upgraded Me" vibe instead of resolutions? Well, one of the biggest game-changers for me in fostering healthier habits and protecting my peace has been embracing a daily dose of motivation. And no, I don't mean endless scrolling! I'm talking about the power of a really good motivational book, especially one you can integrate into your daily life. I used to think motivational books were just fluff, but finding the right one completely shifted my perspective. It's not just about reading; it's about connecting with ideas that resonate and help you reframe your thoughts. For instance, my current go-to is "The Pivot Year" by Brianna Wiest, which is absolutely brilliant because it offers one page of affirmation or insight per day. It’s perfect for setting a positive tone without feeling overwhelmed. It’s like having a little personal coach tucked into my morning routine! But how do you pick your perfect motivational companion? Think about what you need most right now. Are you looking for a spiritual boost, practical productivity tips, or maybe something to help you embrace vulnerability? There are so many incredible options out there. Some books are meant for a deep dive, while others, like daily affirmation books, are designed for consistency. Don't be afraid to read reviews or flip through a few pages to see if the author's voice speaks to you. What truly matters is finding a book that makes you feel inspired and ready to tackle your goals, whether it’s a classic self-help guide or a modern take on mindfulness. Once you have your book, the real magic happens when you make it a ritual. For me, it's part of my morning quiet time. I read my page from "The Pivot Year," and then I immediately grab my journal – sometimes my simple peach-colored journal for general thoughts, or even a shadow work journal if the affirmation sparks something deeper. Writing down my reflections, how the message applies to my day, or even just brainstorming ideas, makes the wisdom stick. It’s not just passive reading; it’s active engagement that transforms those affirmations into actionable insights. And speaking of rituals, let's talk about creating an inspiring space for these moments. Have you ever seen those beautiful "flat lay" photos of books and planners? That's not just for aesthetics; it's about setting the mood! I love arranging my essentials on my desk: my motivational book, my trusty grey planner (the "Bomb Planner" for TWENTY twenty FIVE!), my journal, and perhaps a novel I'm currently reading. This little setup creates an inviting nook that makes me want to sit down and engage with my tools. It’s a visual cue, a mini-sanctuary that signals it’s time to focus on personal growth. It makes the whole process feel special and less like a chore. Beyond the motivational book, remember to utilize your other tools too. My planner isn't just for family appointments; it's where I schedule my "me time" for reading and journaling. And a good old-fashioned book, whatever the genre, offers a wonderful escape and a different kind of brain workout. It’s all about building a holistic approach to being your best, upgraded self. So, grab your chosen motivational book, set up your inspiring space, and let's make 2025 truly our year for growth and joy!
