This guide truly helps you discover your creative purpose and overcome internal censors that often hinder our best work. It's more about nurturing your creative spirit, which is just as important as honing your technical craft. Finally, 'Bird by Bird' by Anne Lamott is simply a foundational craft book. Lamott details her own writing journey with such humor and honesty, offering incredible inspiration, especially for overcoming self-criticism. Her practical advice on tackling big projects by taking them "bird by bird" has been a lifesaver for me, teaching me resilience and patience in the writing process.
