... Read moreI recently tried using Splat hair color and was really curious about why it didn’t stick to my hair as expected. From my experience, the effectiveness of Splat hair dye depends a lot on the initial condition of your hair. If your hair is not properly prepped—like if it isn’t light enough or lacks porosity—the color can struggle to adhere. For me, despite following the instructions, the color faded quickly, which was disappointing. Another thing I noticed is that using a clarifying shampoo before dyeing can sometimes help the color stick better by removing buildup. Also, applying the dye when hair is slightly damp rather than fully dry can impact how well it absorbs. On a different note, reflecting on childhood really made me realize that while many romanticize being a kid again, I don’t see the appeal. Being a kid meant less control and more restrictions, and as an adult, I appreciate the freedom and independence much more. It’s a mixed bag: nostalgia is sweet but so is having the autonomy to make your own choices. In terms of style inspiration, the trend of opposite hair colors bleeding and bold emo or scene hairstyles continues to grow, often showcased on platforms like HairTok. Pairing unique hair colors with an edgy look can be a fun way to express yourself, even if products like Splat don’t always perform as hoped. Lastly, when I’m not experimenting with hair, I’m usually watching horror movies—the top five on my list are always a thrill and a good way to unwind. Whether it’s classic scares or new psychological horrors, they add an interesting contrast to my otherwise colorful and expressive personal style.

I got my braces put on Tuesday morning! 1. Your mouth is EXTREMELY wet sometimes. I catch myself drooling or with my mouth open randomly. They did not tell me this 😀 2. Over the counter medicine is a LIFE SAVER!!! I use extra strength tylenol ( 500mg per pill ) and it works wonders!!!
