Korean Jujube Tea
I make this whenever I need to reset and restore my mind and body.
Daechu-cha is a traditional Korean tea made with dried jujubes,
ginger, and cinnamon.
This tea is aturally sweet, deeply soothing, and incredibly comforting.
Here’s how I make it, keeping things simple.
Wash and cut six jujubes,
slice some fresh ginger,
and add a cinnamon stick.
In a medium pot, add four cups of water,
cover, and let it simmer on low heat for about an hour.
Then add another cup of water and let it go a little longer.
Once it turns this beautiful, clear amber color, you’ll know it’s ready.
This is a tasty remedy to get over that Holiday food hangover or anytime you need to rebalance.
Serve it hot
and take a moment to restore and reset before the New Year.
