Organizing my plush samples 🥰
Had to do some cleaning up and organizing! I love designing cute plushies 💕 #cute stuffy #meowchi #plush #cuteroom
Hey everyone! If you're anything like me, your plush collection can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. I absolutely love collecting and designing cute stuffed animals, but keeping them neat is a whole different challenge. Recently, I decided it was time for a serious plush collection makeover, especially with all my adorable samples. I realized that just tidying up wasn't enough; I needed a proper system to categorize plush toys effectively. So, I dove into figuring out the best ways to categorize my stuffed animals, and I wanted to share what worked for me. The first step is to decide what method makes the most sense for your collection. Do you have a lot of different types, like fantasy creatures, animals, or characters? Or maybe you're a big fan of specific brands, like my beloved Meowchis! One super popular way to categorize is by type or theme. For example, all my cat plushies go together, my monsters in another section, and my food-themed ones in their own little group. This makes it super easy to find exactly what I'm looking for when I need to grab a specific sample or just want to admire a certain part of my collection. Another idea is to sort by color. This can create a really aesthetically pleasing display, like a rainbow of plushies! It's especially good if you have a lot of similar-shaped plushies in different colors. I’ve also found it helpful to categorize by size. My smaller, 'pocket-sized' plushies have their own basket, while the larger, huggable ones have designated shelf space. This not only helps with organization but also with display, preventing smaller plushies from getting lost behind bigger ones. For those really special or sentimental pieces, I create a 'favorites' category. These are the ones that bring me the most joy, like the first plushie I ever designed, and they get pride of place. When you're thinking about how to categorize plush toys, also consider how you use them. Are they for display only, or do you interact with them often? For samples I use for reference, I keep them in clear bins, neatly categorized by design type. For personal collection pieces, I love displaying them on tiered shelves or in special showcases. The key is to make your system work for you, so it's easy to maintain. It makes me feel so happy and organized when everything has its place, and I can truly appreciate each cute little face. It's an act of love for my collection! Don't be afraid to mix and match categorization methods! You might categorize by type first, and then within each type, sort by size or color. The goal is to create a system that feels natural and makes your collection feel less like clutter and more like a curated display of joy. Happy organizing, fellow plushie lovers!
