Let me mention, that the owner gained fans on social media before opening this place! The absolutely adorable style became magnetic to hundreds of people! Of course I was very curious and decided to visit Harucake. 🍰
The line was pretty long, but the wait time was about 15-20 mins. The cafe is pretty small, but cute. It’s perfect for takeout orders.
They have their own merch with their own mascot. The cakes are pretty. 😍
I got a slice of Mugwort Injeolmi, a slice of Lotus Mocha and Soosoo Latte.
The cakes weren’t too soft and creamy, the biscuit isn’t too dry either. It’s very balanced! I loved it. Make sure you don’t expect them to taste like American cakes. They’re also not too sweet! I was so happy about that! 🥳
For me, I think that was pretty good, even tho the price was higher than expected.
Latte part - the coffee was too strong for me. If you love your coffee strong and even with no sugar, less sweetened cakes and don’t mind the price, you’ll like this place!
