Threads giving me followers lol

It's quite fascinating how social media platforms like Threads can continue to attract followers even when you're not active. From my own experience and what many users report, this happens primarily due to the platform's algorithm favoring consistent presence or prior engagement, meaning once you have a certain follower base, your profile remains discoverable through recommendations or searches. This phenomenon especially applies if your content or profile once resonated within popular communities such as VRChat, VTubers, or gaming. Even if you step back from active posting, followers curious about your past posts or intrigued by your profile can still find and follow you, as you mentioned being found 'from the void.' If you're thinking about returning to posting, it might be worthwhile to plan content that resonates with those communities or current trends. Sharing your journey, personal gaming experiences, or insights into VTuber culture could boost your engagement further. Additionally, re-engaging with hashtags like #Threads, #VRChat, #VTuber, and #Gaming keeps your profile visible to niche audiences. It's also important to remember that platforms like Threads are evolving rapidly, and how followers find you today might change tomorrow due to algorithm updates or new features. Therefore, sometimes a small, consistent effort to post even once a week can help maintain your follower growth momentum. Finally, take advantage of features like story updates or interactive posts to create more personal connections with your followers. Social media isn’t just about numbers but interaction, so when you come back, try to engage authentically to keep your audience interested and growing.
